Wow!

Great Performance!
Our teams were AMAZING at the Health & Safety Carnival. We are so proud of them. We received many compliments on the choreography, the girls' performance, and the politeness of our dancers. Thank you for representing Dance Magic so well! The best part was hearing the dancers cheer for each other. We have the most supportive dancers!

Class Pictures Dance Magic and The Ballet School class and individual photos will be taken on Thursday, April 14th at the dance studio. These photos are used for publicity, displayed in the studio for the year, and serve as a keepsake for all class members. Please make sure your dancer is there and on time, even if you don’t purchase any pictures. The most popular package costs $16 and includes an 8x10 team mate and a 5x7 individual portrait of your dancer. Additional photos at discount prices can be ordered with the team mate at the time the pictures are taken. A photo envelope that details other prices should come home with this schedule. Please bring your envelope filled out on the day of pictures, with your money enclosed, (Checks payable to Bryce Photo). Dancers will wear the costume listed for their group photo, please bring all pieces of costume. Hair style and make-up is your choice. Please bring dance clothes to change into as regular classes will still be held. Soloists: please bring your costume and get a picture taken for the program (and yourself) at the end of your class picture time. --Please see below for picture day schedule and costume list-- Performance - Health & Safety Fair We have been invited to perform at the Health & Safety Fair in the SUU ballroom on Saturday, April 9th. It is free to attend. Performance starts at 11:45am. Dancers should arrive by 11:15am. The following classes will be performing: Tiny Stars, Small Stars, 5-6 yr old Stars, 7-8 yr old Stars, 9-12 yr old Stars, Cheer, Guys Hip Hop, Majestic 1, Majestic 2, Majestic 4, Premier, and Jr. Premier. Please see class note for more details. Seroogy’s Easter Chocolate Fundraiser Orders and money are due by Monday, April, 4th. The chocolates will arrive the week before Easter. Cookie Dough Fundraiser Please watch for our yummy Allison's Pantry fundraiser to be passed out later this month! Hope for the Change Performance We will be participating in a fundraising Family event on Monday, May 2nd at CVHS. Our dancers will be performing from 5-6pm in the main gym. Watch for more information. School Holidays There will be no dance classes held on Wed. April 20th or Thurs. April 21st, for Easter Break. Competition Preview at CVMS To get our teams ready for competition, we will be showcasing their competition routines on Friday April 15th, 2011 at Canyon View Middle School starting at 5:00pm. This performance will feature all Majestic teams attending any competition, as well as Tiny Stars, Small Stars, 5-6 yr old Stars, 7-8 Stars, 9-12 Stars, Cheer, and Hip Hop classes! Dancers need to arrive in costume with their hair and makeup done at 4:30pm. All family and friends are invited to come and support their dancers in this fun, informal performance. There is no charge. This preview helps our teams get ready for competition on a gym floor and is a great performance opportunity for our younger classes! (Please see show order and costume list below.) Competition Preview Practice Majestic teams will be meeting at CVMS April 13th to practice spacing on the gym floor. These practices are very important; please make sure your dancer is there, some practices will replace class time for that day! Because time is limited on the floor, please try to arrive 15 min. early to stretch. Dance Magic Competition Preview - CVMS – April 15th
All of our Dance Magic teams will be dancing on Friday, April 15th at the Canyon View Middle School Gym. This is an annual tradition and performance opportunity to help our dancers get ready for competition and comfortable on the gym floor. All dancers need to arrive at 4:30pm in your first costume listed. The following is the tentative show order with costumes. Classes are performing 1 or 2 routines so please read carefully. Please wear or bring all pieces of your costumes listed, have hair and make-up ready, be stretched out and ready to dance. Soloists will perform first, starting at 5pm. Soloists should come in their solo/duet costume first. We will need a dance mom from every class to help with crowd control, line-up, and costume changes, please let your teacher know if you are available to help. See you there!
1. Jr. Premier - Lyrical – There’s A Place for Us - Purple biketard, turquoise dress, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.
