Dance Magic Competition Preview - CVMS – April 15^th

All of our Dance Magic teams will be dancing on Friday, April 15^th at the Canyon View Middle School Gym.  This is an annual tradition and performance opportunity to help our dancers get ready for competition and comfortable on the gym floor.  All dancers need to arrive at 4:30pm in your first costume listed. The following is the tentative show order with costumes. Classes are performing 1 or 2 routines so please read carefully.  Please wear or bring all pieces of your costumes listed, have hair and make-up ready, be stretched out and ready to dance.  Soloists will perform first, starting at 5pm.  Soloists should come in their solo/duet costume first.  We will need a dance mom from every class to help with crowd control, line-up, and costume changes, please let your teacher know if you are available to help.  See you there!

1.  Jr. Premier - Lyrical – There’s A Place for Us - Purple biketard, turquoise dress, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.

2.  Majestic 1 - Jazz – Defying Gravity - Colored tank, black top, black gloves, black biketard, earrings, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.

3.  Tiny Stars – (Thurs 5:30pm) Jazz - Sea Cruise –Red leotard, red shorts, red hairpiece, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in.

4.  5&6 Stars – (Mon 4:15pm)  - Jazz - I Can Hear the Bells - Orange dress, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in.    

5.  Majestic 2 - Lyrical – Never Grow Up - Lavender dress, purple biketard, purple hair bow, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in and hair bow.

6. Tiny Stars (Thurs 10am)– Ballet – Never Smile at a Crocodile - Green costume, green hairpiece, pink tutu, pink tights, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in, green ribbon tied around bun. 

7.  Premier  - Jazz - Footloose – Blue top, silver skirt, black biketard, earrings, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, silver headband bobby pinned in, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.

8.  Majestic 4 - Lyrical -Fireflies - Yellow leotard, white petticoat, yellow headband, white gloves, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in.

9.  Tiny Stars (Mon 4:00pm) – Jazz – Sunshine & Lollipops - Yellow costume, nude tights, pink ballet shoes, yellow hair ribbon, hair in a high bun w/hair piece bobby pinned in.

10. Small Stars (Wed 5pm) - Jazz – Something About the Sunshine – Black & pink leotard, fringe skirt, headband, wristlets, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun w/ hairpiece bobby pinned in.

11. Jr. Premier - Jazz – Dead or Alive – Purple shrug, blue tutu, black biketard, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, flower headband bobby pinned in, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.

12. Majestic 1 - Lyrical – I Was Here - White & black dress, black biketard, earrings, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in. 

13. Cheer – Cheer Mix - Black & pink top, black & pink skirt, black brief, poms, white cheer socks, white shoes, hair in a ponytail away from face.

14. Majestic 4 – Jazz – Walkin’ On Sunshine - Yellow leotard, yellow shorts, yellow headband, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in.

15. Guys Hip Hop– Break Your Heart – Green t-shirt, jeans, any gym/tennis shoes.

16. Majestic 2 – Jazz – Stuff Like That There – Black ruffle top, black biketard, silver capris, silver headband bobby pinned in, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in.

17. Premier – Lyrical – Falling Slowly - Rose overdress, black biketard, tan tights, tan jazz shoes, pink hair bow, hair slicked back into a low side bun w/hairpiece bobby pinned in

18. 9-12 yr. old Stars – Jazz – Mickey - Red top, black leotard, black capris, tan tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a curly ponytail.

19. 7-8 yr. old Stars  - Jazz – Round and Round - Orange & black dress, black biketard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a high bun with hair piece bobby pinned in. 

20. The Majestics (Majestic 1, 2, 4) – Hip Hop – Time of Your Life – White burnout shirt with pink tank on top (Majestic 1 wear your pink tank underneath), any black dance pants or black capris, any tennis shoes.
